The Concept Car tutorial by Andy Brown [link] was what helped my beginnings with modo. It teaches you proper retopology, among other basic functions in the program. The rest came through self-learning.
As soon as I saw the brain cross-sections I thought: epidural, subdural, subarachnoid, intraventricular... and I forget the one for inside the brain tissue itself.
