Adaar 13th, A.P. 0020. Sol-III, Babilon.
An unknown SuperFrame attacked RUNE-HQ, specifically asking to fight SF-Marduk to "settle an old score". Bel Asarai, Marduk's designated pilot, had no idea what the enemy was getting at, but decided to confront it nonetheless when it didn't seem it would cease its relentless offensive.
The battle was short, however, as SF-Marduk was helpless against its adversary's wicked power. It stood above Marduk's battered fuselage, surveying it in utter disgust.

"You disappoint me, Marduk. This isn't you; this isn't the power that once mesmerized and destroyed me... There is no victor today! RISE! RISE and redeem thy glory of old; that I, Kingu, may regain mine in a true battle..!"

Story aside, I think I should really model Kingu his own body sometime instead of using Marduk's with slight modification...

Hm... I dunno, Marduk just seems way too much like Jehuty to me in here. I agree on changing up Kingu, however... you really need to design it so that it's unique and different from Marduk. Marduk, however, also needs enough changes to where it doesn't immediately conjure images of Jehuty to people who know of Orbital Frames and Zone of the Enders

You're quite right. I happen to like ZOE's mecha style a little too much (sans the.. err, "cockpit" issue

). I do try to come up with my own style at times, but it never looked quite as aesthetic. I'm still trying though.

Funny how most people liken Marduk to Jehuty when in fact I went with a more masculine Anubis-esque look. Was it the head? I chose a design that was a combination of Marduk's description from Babylonian myth (4 eyes, 4 ears) and the fact he had a dragon for a pet. As for Kingu, I don't think I'll change him too much; his role in the story requires him to be somewhat similar to Marduk.

Either way, thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated

even if the design of ZOE-Orbital Frames rocks, the >cock<pits dont xD.
at first glance i thought it is Jehuty too ^^'.
well i guess you two were right about the head, but if you look closer, it looks different than jehuty's.
it's just the angle.
keep up the good work anyways
