Amazing works from all over dA. If your work is in here, you're really good. :halfliquid:

its sad to se you go from here, but at least your art is still around.  some people get fed up and leave and take everything with them robbing the world of art.  at least i have one more site to visit during the day
Hey what happened to all your cool art? :O I had one of yours favorited : /

I put them in storage. It's not worth having a gallery here anymore when what the community at large favors pure garbage and has no aptitude for artistic discussion. Just have a look at the front page. I've kept my account only because there are still artists around here worth following.

Currently, I post my stuff on my imgur gallery at
That is, until I find a place that actually helps me grow as an artist.
Thank you for posting your work!
I agree that most of this website is pretty crap but those few good artists are what make it worth it.
I wouldn't judge the site as a whole though. It would be like judging the entire United States a whole, yeah most of it is pretty terrible but it doesn't mean there aren't still great smaller communities.
Also, you should check out CGhub. Much more professional and more focus on 3D. There's also Polycount and its forums, really great for critique and they have both 2D and 3D forums.

I've had a bad experience with some of the more industry-geared websites; they don't seem to tolerate hobbyists much. In fact, I was told off by the admins at CGSociety a couple years ago and warned not to post again unless I'm looking for a job. That's why I try to avoid places that look anything like hiring pots.
At the very least, Luxology (creators of Modo, which I use) have been a bit more tolerant. They allow hobbyists to post their works on the forums, and they even accepted a couple of my works into the Modo gallery on the main site. They're not much into artistic critique though.
